# Event Details

- **Event Name**: The Next Epic Basement CD Sale! Saturday!
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 12:00 pm – Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 06:00 pm (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: I'm liquidating my massive CD collection, dating back to the '80s. Approx. 2500 or so titles, total? Pop/rock, mucho smart-aleck indie rock, punk/post-punk & rarities, indie pop, classic rock, ‘90s hip-hop, EDM/electronica, avant-garde, noise, local bands, comps, R&B, imports, rare out-of-print obscure oddball shit, etc.

SWEET DEALS - most titles only $3! (For collectible stuff I generally go 65% of median Discogs selling price history.) Bulk discounts! Susceptible to the power of suggestion. I'm just trying to get rid of the albatross, boss. I'm sick of plastic. The future is not in plastics.

The Citadel is located near Irving Park & California in a brick three-flat, with plenty of free street parking out front. Follow the gangway entrance on right side of building to the basement, via white door w/ sign that reads J.'s CD SALE. Accepted forms of payment: U.S. currency, Zelle, Apple Cash, dirty deeds done dirt cheap, PayPal. Noon to 6 pm. (Also open by appointment - enquire within)

[NOTE: If you arrive at the door and knock and I don’t answer right away, I stepped away for a moment - just message me on Messenger or text me at 773-331-4579.]

“J. is selling off most of what is one of the best and largest CD collections I've ever seen” - Kenan H., local libertine

“Dude” - Weasel W., local crank

“Next phase / new wave / dance craze / anyways / It's still rock and roll to me” - some alcoholic boomer
