In a poetry reading and feature night hosted by Vittorio Carli on the first Saturday of every month, Chicago is graced with a bonus week of readings at Tangible Books. Janet Kuypers, Chicago poet (and now Austin, TX resident), is one of the featured performers at Tangible Books during this bonus weeknight event.
Janet Kuypers, host of Chicago’s “The Cafe Gallery” poetry & performance art open mic 2010-2015 (the only Chicago open mic that had a podcast and a feature collection book), edits two literary magazines (
https://scars.tv) and currently runs a monthly “Poetic License” Zoom meeting open mic.
In this return to Chicago, Janet Kuypers will read poetry highlighting many books from Scars Puiblications and CyberWit press, (some including “The Universe is in Your Hands”, “Testament”, “Shattering the Glass Ceiling”, and “Eternal Never Ending Bow” from CyberWit and “Partial Nudity”, “In Depth”, “Every Event of the Yrear (volume one: January-June)”, “(pheormemes) haiku, Instagram, Twitter, and poetry”, “Finally, Literature for the Snotty and Elite”, and many more. These books will be available for purchase, allowing people to obtain autographed copies of the poetry books.
