St. Patrick's Day Buffet ft. Parting Glass

Raise a pint and celebrate the luck of the Irish with a spectacular evening at the historic Colvin House! Join us for a festive, all-you-can-eat St. Patrick's Day Buffet featuring traditional favorites, spirited music, and unparalleled atmosphere.

We are thrilled to feature the acclaimed band Parting Glass, known for playing Assorted Roots, Irish, Blues, Bluegrass, and World Music. We are thrilled to have them back for this annual event!

• John Neafsey, vocals and guitar. John is a native of Rogers Park and a lover of traditional Irish music and classic Chicago Blues. His favorite gig is a monthly Parting Glass session at Cunneen’s bar on Devon Avenue.
• Jennifer Dunne, fiddle. Jen is a professional violinist who has played with the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, the Ravinia Festival Orchestra (backing up Smokey Robinson, Earth, Wind and Fire, Sarah McLaughlin, and Marco Antonio Solis), and the Chicago Philharmonic- among others. Jen’s love and admiration of Irish, Americana, and Bluegrass music are realized through this group.
• Jim Szmurlo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, vocals. Jim, a native Chicagoan, always had a passion for folk, roots, and ethnic music. Over the years, he's played with various musical groups and friends, ranging from Appalachian, Balkan, Scandinavian, Americana, and whatever catches his ear. And his interest in playing instruments is as varied as his musical tastes.

During this week of St. Patrick's Day, we are offering a special VIP Buffet option!

With our VIP ticket, you can enjoy the best seats in the house and indulge in our festive Irish buffet table, which features all the classic Irish dishes.

Limited VIP tickets are available—please purchase ahead of time. Your VIP ticket includes a donation to the band!

Please note that we no longer allow outside food or beverages at Colvin Concerts.

Parking Info:
Colvin House can only provide very limited parking onsite for this event, usually reserved for parkers with disabilities.

The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary school, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff who will provide further instruction.

We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.

Those valet rates are as follows:
· 1 Hour: $6
· 2 Hours: $10
· 3 Hours: $11
· 4 Hours: $13

We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
