After a bit of research it was inspired by the commonalities between The Male Bowerbird's and the human Male's mating methods and the reckoning with the failed promises of the patriarchy. These male oriented cycles perpetuate illusions created by oppressive systems and ourselves as we both instinctively fight to survive through truths we are not ready to address, futures were too afraid to venture into, and nests built to make us seem large enough that the grief of our true reality cant hurt us.
