Due to recent legislation, drastic federal cuts to this safety net which includes Medicaid and SNAP are now hurtling toward these veterans and other vulnerable groups of people.Hughes Moyer, an expert in veteran assistance, will ask what our care for veterans tells us about the stability of this safety net for those in jeopardy in the U.S. And as a nation, do we still share a moral obligation to help those in need simply because they're human beings?*[The VOA is the naton’s largest and most comprehensive human services organization in the United States - serving Veterans and America’s most vunerable]Reserve early.
