- **Event Description**: A Picturesque Run Along the LakeThe 46th annual Life Time Turkey Trot Chicago 5K & 8K will take place in beautiful Lincoln Park along the shores of Lake Michigan. The Start Line Finish Line and Turkey Trot Tailgate are all centrally located along Cannon Drive between Diversey and Fullerton Parkway.Parents wishing to trot with strollers are welcome. However participants with strollers are required to begin within the last wave. Our course is wheelchair friendly and we gladly welcome para-athletes to participate.Age Requirement: Minimum age requirement for the 5K distance is 8 years old. This means if your child will be 8 by the date of the race (11/28/2024) they are able to participate.AwardsOverall awards will be given to the top three male female and non-binary participants in the 5K and 8K divisions. Overall awards will be presented on the Main Stage at 10:30 AM.Course InfoChicago’s Lakefront Trail is open to the public and participants should expect minimal but general public traffic during the race. For your safety and the safety of others please be courteous and yield at all intersections.This course is wheelchair and stroller friendly.
