Keep It Stupid, Stupid

KISS the SHOW begins at 7:30 and runs for about an hour and a half. Every two weeks brings you a fresh set of six acts like you've never seen before, along with a new host and musician. See our instagram page @keepitstupidstupid for each show's lineup.

FOREPLAY, our live-directed experimental clown jam, begins at 6pm. Audience is welcome to watch. Maybe you'll see the beginnings of an act before it becomes a part of the next show. Maybe you'll see the next biggest clown duo meet and work together for the first time. Maybe you'll be inspired to get up and give clown a try. The possibilities are endless. The Playground Theater is a water-only venue. Come and go as you like - our buddy's downstairs at My Buddy's got you with food and drank - just don't bring that shit up here. Join us after the show, down the road at Max's Place!

PG is also donation-only (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported in part by the Illinois Arts Council)! You're always welcome at KISS for no-cost, but we appreciate any donation to help keep the venue running. You'll also have the opportunity to tip KISS at the end of the show. No one turned away for lack of funds.
