The ~44 film, directed by Charlie Weinmann, will be screened in The School's Auditorium, and will be followed by a live conversation and Q&A with Parker.Happy Today, which releases May 15th via International Anthem and Nonesuch Records, is the latest album by guitarist Jeff Parker and his widely-beloved ETA IVtet ensemble with Jay Bellerose (drums), Anna Butterss (bass), and Josh Johnson (alto saxophone). The album (and accompanying film) was recorded live at Lodge Room in Los Angeles in August of 2025. It follows the band's critically-acclaimed 2024 album The Way Out of Easy (which debuted #1 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Chart, and was called "a testament to the power of live jazz" by The Guardian).Entry is free with a suggested donation of $15.
