Afro-Contemporary blends Ballet, Jazz, and Modern with full-body expressions rooted in West African, Caribbean, and African American traditions. Influenced by Dunham Technique, House, and contemporary diasporic vocabularies, this class emphasizes rhythmic precision, grounded movement, and expressive freedom. Students build strength, endurance, spinal suppleness, and cultivate pelvic articulation, musicality, and cultural storytelling.
