I'm excited to share a new project that Matt Gold and I have been developing over the past several months: Greg Ward & Matt Gold: New Works for Saxophone and Guitar.

We began shaping this music during our teaching residency at the Strings Music Festival in Colorado, where we had the opportunity to workshop many of these pieces. Since then, we've continued to refine and expand the music, and I'm looking forward to presenting it here in Chicago.

Join us on Friday, July 31 at the Red Room for an evening of new compositions, improvisation, and conversation between saxophone and guitar. We can't wait to share these new works with you.
