First Long Run of Summer Marathon Training (Montrose Beach)
Long runs begin for CARA Summer Marathon Training on 6/16! Join us all summer and experience CARA's "Power of the Group" on your marathon journey. Training plans begin June 10th with the first group speed workouts 6/12 and first group long runs 6/16!
Get registered at chicagomarathontraining.org and join in at CARA Montrose Beach (Long runs meet Sunday's at 6:30 a.m. at Montrose Beach - "Daniel's Concession" comfort station east of the Simonds Drive bridge, just south of Wilson Drive on Simonds Drive.), or at any of our 11 locations, including Montrose Beach at Saturday's at 6:00 a.m., Saturday's at 6:30 a.m.
CARA group training will provide you the support, community, and accountability you need to successfully reach the start line ready to race your marathon.
The CARA program has helped tens of thousands of runners complete 26.2. Our popular 18-week program has long been Chicago's premier group training program, serving newcomers and experienced runners alike.
CARA runners enjoy access to eleven training sites scattered across the city and suburbs. With CARA training you will never have to go it alone. Your pace group leader and fellow participants will give you the "Power of the Group" that has gotten CARA runners to the finish line more than any other program in Chicagoland running.
