"Ghouls and Girlies" October group discussion will examine crime scene Bloodstain Pattern Analysis (BPA)—its history since 1895, biology/physics/mathematics involved, relevant court cases, and acceptance in the US judicial system vs. debunking from science academies. We are honored this month that Scent Queens is providing us with their second floor Secret Parlor space--a private multiple-room Victorian setting. Every corner is layered with dark elegance, witchy whispers, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you feel you have stepped back in time.
Below the general bio of Girls and Girlies will be resources to use to prepare for our bloodstain pattern analysis (BPA) group talk. Please examine a few of these ahead of time. You may also do your own research.
(((Here is a bio of who we are: Are you a girlie obsessed with ghosts, aliens, true crime, cryptids, and anything else eerie or spooky? Do you crave new like-minded friends to accompany you in a deep dive into your favorite creepy topics and share the cozy, warm feeling of a terrifying horror film? Our group began in Oct. 2023. We meet every first Thursday of the month from 7-9pm to discuss topics like true crime, a trilogy of horror movies, a gothic fiction novel title, personal experiences and beliefs about spirits, historical sightings of Mothman or the Loch Ness Monster, etc. We also organize extra events, like going to the movies, listening to a live lecture expert, or going on haunted tours. [We are LGBTQ-inclusive. We welcome anyone female/femme/trans/non-binary of age 21+]. Please feel free to ask me, your host Jen, of any questions))).
