We design workshops, labs, and ritual spaces that teach DJing, visual practice, and cultural organizing—rooted in Black and brown lineages and diasporas, in analog culture, and in community care.We honor practices that existed before and beyond colonial ideas of race and nation, while recognizing how those same practices traveled, transformed, and survived across oceans, borders, and generations. We treat the shop as a classroom and a lab all at once. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/1b758ea0-c66d-11f1-9b17-2d4e02041cf4-rimg-w588-h740-dc282828-gmir.jpg https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/1bba5fd0-c66d-11f1-9b17-2d4e02041cf4-rimg-w588-h740-dcf8e8d8-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/chicago/dig-disconnect-workshops-intro-to-djing/100001998921849060 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Workshops, Art, Nonprofit, Sports - **Slot details of has slots**: - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 23 hours - Location: Miyagi Records - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Chicago - **state**: IL - **country**: United States - **location**: Miyagi Records - **lat**: 41.7942256 - **long**: -87.618754 - **full address**: Miyagi Records, 307 East Garfield Boulevard, Chicago, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Intro to DJing - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/ed21d971e7c8f57e8e489617e3fcabadbf7c75266a380141ff7a5f64856e79cf-rimg-w1080-h1360-dc282828-gmir.jpg?v=1789674382 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Intro to DJing being held? - **A:** Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Intro to DJing takes place on Sat, 19 Sep, 2026 at 03:00 pm to Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 02:00 pm at Miyagi Records, 307 East Garfield Boulevard, Chicago, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Intro to DJing? - **A:** Dig + Disconnect Workshops - Intro to DJing is organized by Miyagi Records. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
