Join us for a live cosplay figure drawing class at Dark Tower Comics Logan Square! The session is $20. Bring whatever drawing tools you're most comfortable with: sketchbook, ipad, etc. If you need to borrow some drawing supplies, we'll have a few available upon request.This class includes 1 hour of drawing instruction + Q&A, followed by 1 hour of gesture and figure drawing exercises featuring local cosplayer Tyler, aka @nerdshark_ Each month will feature a new live character to sketch; this month's theme is DANDADAN.About the instructor:Eli Estrella Pérez is a Cuban-American illustrator and comic artist. She received the 2024 Cupcake Award for her self-published roller derby memoir, Go Chica Go. They also placed first at the Kids Comics Unite 2023 Pitchfest.
