The more I do somatic work and healing, the more it all comes back to the breath. Pranayama is the process of building awareness of the breath and restoring Prana/Chi/Tonalli/Life in the body, mind, and spirit through yogic breathing exercises.This class will support you in increasing breath awareness and embodiment through Somatic Experiencing Trauma Recovery framework, anatomy physiology, and psychoeducation.This practice is for those with some knowledge or practice of yoga, breath work, meditation, danza, ceremony work or cultural healing practices.  All levels, we will work progressively as we gently remember the connection to our body and breath.We are leaving space for a gentle integration and platica at the end and there will be an option to drink cacao or tea for a 15 min closing talking circle.Cacao is a heart opening medicine that nurtures our spirit as well.
