Facilitation by Jane ZawadowskiAbout this EventIn the upcoming Connection Fellowship, on Sunday November 23th, Jane Zawadowski will guide an interactive, Nonviolent Communication skills practice space.If over the holidays you’ll have to be with people who are difficult, or are just hard to be with, and IF you have any desire to flip even some of the resisting and fighting into connect, first, yay, you’re amazing! Second, please come learn and practice how to have a better experience with those folks.We will practice listening and speaking with concepts from Nonviolent Communication. We will role play, so you’re invited to bring in real scenarios from your life to work on. We will acknowledge and play with things we do that are usually not helpful. Join us to build a more compassionate, and mindful culture by practicing relating skills. Fill your tank by sharing in the intimacy and vulnerabilty that comes with being in authentic connection.Jane invites you to this warm, safe space to connect with yourself more clearly, to be curious with your heart’s intention and with one another. We will have two formal break, and we welcome you to step away as needed throughout with self-guided informal breaks.“Connection Fellowship” will be held in person at 1443 W. Jarvis Ave., Chicago, IL 60626.(Street parking is available, but limited. There's an inexpensive garage one block south and one block east of the pottery. For public transport the redline train stops at Jarvis, which is a half block east of the pottery, and the 147 bus also at Jarvis, which is a one block west of the pottery)Financial Contribution:This workshop is donation-based.
