Comedy Essentials: A One-Hour Standup Jumpstart

In this fast paced, high energy workshop, students will get a brief introduction to the basics of how to write and perform a joke. It is perfect for those interested in stand up, or who want to try out classes at Lincoln Lodge, and will include:

• Activities for content/joke premise generation
• The basics of joke writing
• The option to perform 1 minute sets in a supportive and fun environment

There will be time at the end to discuss next steps for those interested in pursuing standup!

If you decide to enroll in a level 1 standup class at the Lincoln Lodge after this workshop, your $50 registration fee will be deducted from the total class price! *
