Throughout the weekend three stages set up across Millennium Park will welcome more than 35 performances and more than 250 artists celebrating the city’s renowned Blues legacy including a special Sunday evening June 9th performance by Chicago living legend Buddy Guy as part of his “Damn Right Farewell” tour.Additional headliners include: Award-winning blues soul and Americana singer Shemekia Copeland; “The Mississippi Blues Child” Mr. Sipp; GRAMMY-nominated Memphis-based Soul and Roots band Southern Avenue; and Centennial Tributes to Jimmy Rogers Dinah Washington and Otis Spann and many more.The festival organizers released the 2024 artist lineup take a look at which artists will be performing.Thursday June 6Ronnie Baker Brooks and Shemekia Copeland will be playing in the Ramova Theatre located at 3520 S Halsted St.Doors will open at 5 p.m. and performances will begin at 6 p.m. Online RSVP for the free show will begin on May 1.Friday June 7Several artists will be playing on June 7 at multiple locations.
