- **Event Description**: Create a design on your own ceramic planter (already wheelthrown) with tape!About this EventCeramic Planter Glazing Design with AnneMay 2nd, 12-2pm (Saturday) - $60🪴🪴🪴🪴Anne (she/her) is an Albany Park potter who throws functional and decorative work for the home and garden, drawing inspiration from mid-century forms and stained glass designs.🪴🪴🪴🪴In this hands-on workshop for adults and older teens, participants will create a design on their own ceramic planter (already wheelthrown by Anne) using tape resist and glaze application. Anne will demonstrate her approach to mapping out and applying taped designs, as well as how to glaze a piece effectively. She will also have some of her finished pieces on hand to help visualize the end result.🪴🪴🪴Please note that the glazed mini vases will be fired by Anne in her studio kiln and then returned to Hey I Thought Of You for pickup approximately one week after the workshop. The finished pieces will be functional, food safe pieces.
