BYOB-Be Your Own Boss: Lawndale Women's Roundtable on Economic Security
Women are starting small businesses at a higher rate than men and earn business revenues above the national average. Join Geri Aglipay, Small Business Majority National Women's Entrepreneurship Manager for a roundtable and presentation on issues and policies that impact the economic security of women small business owners, especially women of color.
Women entrepreneurs’ engagement on policy issues activates change that supports economic security for their businesses, their employees, their families and their local communities. This women-only roundtable will focus on topics and resources such as healthcare, fair lending, paid family and medical leave, affordable childcare and student debt.
Admission is no-cost and light refreshments will be served for aspiring and current women entrepreneurs. Space is limited and for women only, so please rsvp to reserve your spot.
These roundtables are part of Small Business Majority's “BYOB—Be Your Own Boss” women’s entrepreneurship roundtable series in partnership with New Covenant Community Development Corporation and North Lawndale Chamber of Commerce.
