AS FEATURED IN BENZINGA FINANCIAL MAGAZINEBitCamp is a 3-day intensive workshop that enables you to lead your organization through the disruption of blockchain technology, start your own projects, and teach and coach others effectively on blockchain and the new economy. We take you from Zero to Blockchain Hero in 3 Days.

BitCamp is structured into modules. Each module will consist of a lecture, Q&A, discussion, and assessments. There are no pre-requisites to succeed at BitCamp.
At the end of BitCamp, you will be eligible for BitBox certification and gain access to a massive network of blockchain hobbyists and professionals, job opportunities, and continuing education platforms and discussions

Curriculum:

History and Mythology of Money
Our current monetary system and the impending collapse.
The generations-long struggle to build a cryptocurrency & Crypto-Anarchism
Cryptography basics and implications
Bitcoin Anatomy: Transactions, Wallets, Mining, and Implications.
Consensus Mechanisms, Governance Vulnerabilities
Altcoins, Forks and the Economy
Crypto-economics and Proofs of Work, Stake, etc.
Projects of Note
Crypto-Law, Government, and Accounting
Smart Contracts and Disintermediation
Crypto-startups, ICOS, and opportunities.

Our Instructor
Kinnard Hockenhull is one of the oldest participants in the blockchain industry- having founded Michigan Bitcoiners in 2012, and later in 2014, operating the fifth largest cryptocurrency exchange as while studying economics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and developing as a computer programmer.Today, Kinnard is an oft-quoted expert in Forbes, Coindesk and Wired- and speaks around the U.S. on the implications of blockchain for businesses and government.  Passionate about the transformative power of cryptography and the human-centric nature of this paradigm shift, his teaching style weaves history, technology, and empowerment into a one-of-a-kind educational experience leaving our peers capable, inspired, and ready to teach others. 

Course size: min 7, max 20
BitBox reserves the right to cancel this course at least 24 hours in advance via Email if we have not received seven or more confirmed applications. If the course is canceled then full refunds will be made. This means that the participant is aware that the event is not guaranteed to take place at the time of reservation.

Schedule:
Each day we will break at noon and students are encouraged to dine at the restaurant on-site or to pack a lunch due to the break duration.
