This half-day workshop will begin with community connection and an exploration of our understanding of beauty through writing prompts, personal exploration, and discussion.
From there, participants will experience an accessible, trauma-sensitive yoga practice (chair and floor options given at all times), intended to support them in experiencing their body from the inside out, rather than focusing on how it looks.
The day will conclude with two hours of art-making, snacking, and chatting, as we synthesize the previous experiences in the worksop to create a work of art that reflects our new understanding of our own unique beauty and our blossoming new perspectives on our bodies.
