Elite Field: Watch as top athletes like John Korir (Kenya) aim for a sub-2:01 finish and Conner Mantz (USA) targets the American record of 2:05:38. The women's race features fierce competitors such as Megertu Alemu and Hawi Feysa.

Charity Teams: Join over 200 official charity teams. Fundraise and run for a cause close to your heart. Participants are required to raise no less than $1500 if the entry is claimed during the application window and $2100 if claimed after the window. 

Chicago Distance Series: Complete the Shamrock Shuffle 8K Chicago 13.1 and Chicago Marathon in 2025 to earn an exclusive medal and a guaranteed entry to the 2026 Chicago Marathon. 

Post-Race Party: Celebrate your achievement at the 27th Mile Post-Race Party. Enjoy complimentary beer (for participants aged 21 and over) music and a festive atmosphere.

Access: Spectators can access Grant Park starting at 9:30 AM. Please note that race start and finish areas are restricted to participants staff and credentialed individuals. 
Viewing Spots: Choose strategic spots along the course to cheer on runners. Popular locations include the Loop Near North Side and Near South Side.
Transportation: Utilize public transportation or designated spectator shuttles to navigate the city efficiently.
