Students will have to understand the basics of pattern making and sewing to sign up for this class. Students will learn techniques for using one of their created patterns, cutting fabric, and sewing your first design sample focusing on quality, form, fit, and functionality. By the end of this class, you will have completed your first garment. NOTE this class meets for 4 sessions, therefore if your garment isn’t completed during these 4 sessions, then you can book more consulting time with a FashionBar Representative to assist in mentoring you to complete your garment!Optional: Bring Your Own **Straight Stitch Sewing Machine – you will be required to have read your user manual and know how to use your machine before signing up for this class. We also have the required machines for this class as you do not need your own machine.
