- **Event Description**: ASNA's Green Waste Event is open to ALL Alta Sierra residents for the purpose of removing hazardous vegetation and prepare their properties ahead of fire season. Funded by Nevada County and planned in partnership with WM of Nevada County, CALFIRE, Nevada County Consolidated Fire District and Nevada County Department of Public Works. 

We rely on volunteers to operate this FREE event. If you are able to  help us with your friendly smile, we need folks to welcome participants, hand them a clipboard for sign-in, and tidy the parking lot after they've unloaded their yard debris.
