Please join us for this art exhibition showcasing Myanmar artists who create artworks using dried leaves and pressed flowers gathered from conflict-affected areas inside Myanmar.
Here is our schedule for the evening 25 Nov:
6:15pm Artist talk
6:30 Foundation talk
7:00 Traditional dance, Kinneri/Kinnera and
Shan Knife Dance
8-9pm Live Acoustic Burmese Music
All funds raised at the event will go to support Southern Shan team in providing medicine, food, shelter, support for amputees from the war.
Even in the midst of war, flowers still bloom, reflecting the quiet resilience and hope of the people.
The exhibition, titled “Equality 🟰 (ညီမျှခြင်း)”, features the works of artist Min Thet Htet Aung along with community artists from Myanmar. Each piece carries the message that beauty and dignity can survive even in difficult soil.
By attending or supporting this exhibition, you are standing with the people of Myanmar as they continue to heal and rebuild their lives. It also expresses the wish for every life in Myanmar to have the same freedom to flourish, just like these flowers. All funds from artwork sales will support the struggle for freedom in Myanmar.
The Opening reception event will be 6-8pm 25 Nov and the exhibition will be on display until the 30th in Chiang Mai at social enterprise restaurant Free Bird Cafe.
Selected artworks and small merchandise will also be available online for those who cannot attend.
The artist Min Thet Htet Aung will organize a pressed flower making workshop on Wed 26 Nov, 1-5pm for 1,500b you will get hands on instruction from the artist, and leave with a finished A3 framed artwork. Please message us to book a spot.

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်းရှိ ပဋိပက္ခဒဏ်ခံဒေသများမှ ကောက်ယူရရှိသော သစ်ရွက်ခြောက်များ၊ ပန်းများဖြင့် အနုပညာလက်ရာများ ဖန်တီးသည့် မြန်မာ့အနုပညာရှင်များ၏ အနုပညာပြပွဲတစ်ခုကို ချင်းမိုင်မြို့တွင် ကျင်းပမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
စစ်ပွဲ၏အလယ်ဝယ်ပင် ပန်းများသည် ပွင့်နေဆဲဖြစ်ပြီး ပြည်သူလူထု၏ တိတ်ဆိတ်သော်လည်း ခိုင်မာသည့် ခံနိုင်ရည်စွမ်းပကားနှင့် မျှော်လင့်ချက်ကို ရောင်ပြန်ဟပ်နေပါသည်။
"ညီမျှခြင်း 🟰 (Equality)" အမည်ရှိ ဤပြပွဲတွင် အနုပညာရှင် မင်းသက်ထက်အောင်နှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ လူထုအနုပညာရှင်များ၏ လက်ရာများ ပါဝင်ပြသမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ လက်ရာတစ်ခုစီသည် ခက်ခဲကြမ်းတမ်းသော မြေကြီးထဲ၌ပင် အလှကျက်သရေနှင့် ဂုဏ်သိက္ခာသည် ရှင်သန်တည်ရှိနိုင်သည်ဆိုသော သတင်းစကားကို သယ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။
ဤပြပွဲကို တက်ရောက်ခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ပံ့ပိုးကူညီခြင်းဖြင့် မြန်မာပြည်သူများ သူတို့၏ဘဝများကို ဆက်လက်ပြန်လည်ကုစားနေချိန်တွင် သင်သည် မြန်မာပြည်သူများနှင့်အတူ ရပ်တည်နေခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ဤအခမ်းအနားကို နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၂၅ ရက်မှ ၃၀ ရက်အထိ ချင်းမိုင်မြို့တွင် ကျင်းပမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး (ကျင်းပမည့်နေရာကို နောက်မှထပ်မံကြေညာသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်)။ ရွေးချယ်ထားသော အနုပညာလက်ရာများနှင့် အသေးစားကုန်ပစ္စည်းများကိုလည်း အွန်လိုင်းမှတစ်ဆင့် ဝယ်ယူရရှိနိုင်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
"ညီမျှခြင်း" ဟူသော အမည်သည် ဤပန်းများကဲ့သို့ပင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ ဘဝတိုင်းသည် တူညီသော လွတ်လပ်စွာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရှင်သန်နိုင်ရန် ဆန္ဒကို ဖော်ပြနေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။
