Join “Buffalo Bill” Boycott and Dr. Jo for a lively musical journey through Wyoming history, featuring songs about cowboys, the Oregon Trail, the Transcontinental Railroad, Lewis and Clark, and more.

Traditional Hoop Dance Performance
11:30 AM–12:30 PM | Cottonwood Room
Experience a powerful traditional Native American hoop dance performance by Jasmine Pickner Bell, a two-time world champion hoop dancer and member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe.

Log Cabin to White House
11:45 AM–12:45 PM | Sunflower Room
Meet Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln in this engaging living history presentation by nationally recognized historian John Voehl, along with Pamela Voehl, bringing Lincoln’s journey from humble beginnings to the presidency to life.

Colonial Fashions Trunk Show and Dancing
1:00–3:00 PM | Cottonwood Room
Explore what people wore 250 years ago with Sharon Guli’s Colonial Fashions Trunk Show. This family-friendly program may include audience volunteers, followed by an opportunity to learn simple historical dances—no experience needed.

The Chemical History of the Candle Demonstration
10:00 AM–2:00 PM | The Commons
Stop by for live demonstrations inspired by Michael Faraday’s The Chemical History of a Candle, featuring replica scientific apparatus and hands-on science history.

Additional Activities:
-Drop in to the Early Literacy Center for historical games and fun for the whole family.
-Visit the third floor to meet a suffragette and participate in a Living History poll.
-Explore the library and encounter historical characters from the last 250 years of U.S. and Wyoming history—be sure to introduce yourself and collect autographs as you go.
