FORMAT: Tables are 44”x60”. Terrain layouts are GW Terrain layouts. Teams will be comprised of two players each building a 1000 point Incursion Force. Players may not duplicate Unique Characters(you can’t both bring Angron, you monsters). Additionally players will share one pool of Command points as though they were playing a single Strike Force Army. Missions are from the Pariah Nexus Tournament mission pool.
30 minute warning will be given when the only 30 minutes remain in the round. When the round time limit is up, it is HARD DICE DOWN AND SCORE WHERE YOU ARE AT.
ROUND 1: Mission I
ROUND 2: Mission S
ROUND 3: Mission Q
GW Terrain Layout 5 will be used for this event, matched as closely as possible with available terrain.
Please keep score using the Tabletop Battles app.
In the event of an odd number of Teams, a bye Team will be randomly chosen. This Team will receive a win and 70 battle points.
LOS & RUINS:
We will be using the GW 1 inch engagement rule for walls.
Models cannot see over or through this terrain feature (i.e. a unit outside this terrain feature cannot draw line of sight to a target on the other side of it, even if it would be possible to draw line of sight to that target through open windows, doors, etc.)
Aircraft models are exceptions to this – visibility to and from such models is determined normally, even if this terrain feature is wholly in between them and the observing model.
Models can see into this terrain feature normally, and models that are wholly within this terrain feature can see out of it normally. Towering models that are within this terrain feature can also see out of it normally.
Towering units will NOT be able to see through the first floor. All first floors as LOS blocking and solid walls. Towering models may draw LOS through the second or higher floors.
PAINTING:
Painting is not required but strongly encouraged. Armies must be Battle Ready painted as defined by GW (not just three colors) to receive the 10 points for Battle Ready in each Round. Armies will be judged as a team for the Best Painted award. So if you paint like Michael Angelo but your teammate has unpainted minis you’re out of luck.
