PLEASE NOTE: There have been some changes made to the event description, please read carefully!
There is a $5 vendor fee (This includes those who are bringing animals to sell/barter) This fee covers Insurance, advertising, safety Equipment, and event setup. Please be honest with the gate keeper whether you intend to sell or if you are there just to buy. Those offering FREE kittens/Puppies or FREE Services/goods get in for free.

Vendors/sellers may arrive at 8 to set up. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP ANY EARLIER, as I do not live on the property and the gates are shut until gate keeper arrives and opens them!
Plenty of room outside if you have a pop-up or want to sell from your vehicle. Space is first-come, first-served. There is an outhouse on-site. Wet weather WILL result in mud around the property. Event is held in field behind garage. DO NOT BLOCK THE GARAGE- this is very important if we want to continue to use this property for event. We also want to be sure to be tidy and clean up after ourselves so the property owner will allow us to keep hosting! Please pack out your trash, and make sure the space you use is left at least as good as it was before you set up.
NOTICE: Due to lack of assistance, we may NOT have a designated animal inspector at this event, so please keep that in mind. If you'd like to volunteer to help (or have a useful teen that would be willing to assist), please let me know!
Just because we are not doing complete inspections, we will be watching for problems. Check over your animals before loading your vehicle for the event- use the list on the bottom of the page here:

If you have even one sick or otherwise unthrifty animal present, you may be asked to leave the event. Some things are easily missed such as ear mites on rabbits and mites/lice on poultry. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you bring only healthy animals!
Stevens County Farm Barter is partnered with The PNW Farm Barter Faires and our events are aimed at bartering or selling livestock, plants and farming equipment as well as networking, teaching and learning new skills.
This is a great way to not only work out a great deal with other farmers, but also to network, and/or teach or learn a new skill. Share your crop starts, unload your extra livestock, swap your unneeded farm supplies, tool or implements. Livestock of all sizes welcome.
Crafty items welcome too- anything handmade or homemade including goodies and canned goods. Tinctures, bath items, soaps, and that sort of thing welcome too. Trading dollars for items is also allowed 😉
