Spirituality in Nature: A Discussion on Dhikr and Nature with Chaplain Patricia Anton
Join Green Muslims for a spiritually enriching experience at Nature Forward where Chaplain Patricia Anton will lead a walk and discussion exploring the connection between spirituality and nature through the practice of dhikr.
Dhikr: “remembrance” or the ritual form of devotion involving recitation or chanting to praise or remember God. Dhikr is practiced individually and collectively. When dhikr is practiced in a communal setting, it becomes rhythmic, providing a calming environment for all present in the space. Chaplain Patricia Anton will discuss how dhikr not only helps us connect with the Divine but also with God's natural creation and how nature practices dhikr.
Green Muslims welcomes you to a unique opportunity to connect with God in the midst of nature's wonder!
