- **Event Description**: In light of the recent tragedy in our neighboring Community of Tumbler Ridge, we are re-directing the focus of this event. The outpouring of monetary support for the victims and their families has been incredible to see, and we encourage everyone to continue to give to the various Go Fund Me accounts set up for that purpose.

We believe in the healing power of music, especially when music is paired with community - and that's why we've adapted this event to be a fundraiser to benefit the Tumbler Ridge Days Society, a long-standing non-profit responsible for hosting Griz Fest, who are planning to host a new music festival and community event in Tumbler Ridge this summer.

We know just how much time, effort, and money goes into hosting community arts-based events - and we also know how important those events are to the mental & emotional well-being of community members, particularly youth. That's why 100% of the funds raised at the door & proceeds from the bar will be given to the TRDS to help kick off their Community-driven music festival - helping to make it come to fruition and be accessible to the whole community.
