2024 Legacy Day Weekend
August 16 - 18, 2024

Legacy Day – a festival that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of African Americans in Kent County – has occurred each August since 2013. It is offered free of charge to the public, thanks to the sponsorships of individuals and organizations.

This year’s festival will celebrate Historic Black Communities.

2pm Gospel Showcase
4pm Youth Dance-Off Contest
5pm Legacy Day Street Party

Sunday, August 17
1pm Hidden Figures Champagne Brunch
