“Delmarva Is Our Hometown”
This Is an upcoming show with Winifred Way and moi in Chestertown Maryland. We have been painting Delmarva scenes for almost 20 years from Pennsylvania to Virginia and points in between. The main focus is Plein air work in watercolor, acrylic, and collage. Winnie was trained in graphic arts with focus in publishing field before shift to fine art watercolors. Taylor was self-taught and learned Plein air from WPA artist, Jack Lewis. The show features a variety of work including a selection of collages for National Poetry month which is in April each year and residents may find interesting this spring.
Paintings will include landscape, seascape, portraiture, and gardens from around the region from towns as far as Onancock & Atlantic in Virginia to Assateague, Snow Hill, Berlin, Chestertown, Chesapeake City in Maryland to Laurel, Seaford, Dover, Bombay Hook, and Wilmington in Delaware. Come take a walk on the unique side of all three states.
Programming is being planned for show which will run from March 1 to April 15, 2026. A reception is also being planned. Stay tuned for details.
