Mitchell Brady, Kyle Tenove and Taylor Miles are Jade Elephant: a Canadian rock n roll power trio with a massive sound and brother-like chemistry. Specializing in “doing it live,” the live show is what defines Jade Elephant. Every onstage moment is packed with spontaneity, intention, energy and passion.

Jade Elephant’s self-titled debut album is a testament to their live performance. Recorded live off the floor with Juno Award-winning producer Russell Broom, the intention with this album was to create something that captures the essence of that live energy, where the band thrives.

Jade Elephant has performed as direct support for Collective Soul, Big Wreck, and Default and have appeared at festivals including Starbelly Jam (Crawford Bay, BC), Waynestock (Wayne, AB), Summerfest (Calgary, AB) and Cornstock (Taber, AB).

Recently, the band has been nominated for multiple YYCMAs (Group of the year, Rock recording of the year) and a Western Canadian music award (rock artist of the year) and have had radio charting success across Canada, notably #1 on CFUR and #3 on CKUA.

Opening for Jade Elephant is Velvet. Velvet is an indie-alt band from Calgary, AB, formed in 2023. Our guitarist, Aiden Evangelista, drives our writing process, with his creative style and inspiration to shape our songs. Together with Lola Tipouikidis on bass, Finley O'Reilly on vocals, Laine Jeffery on drums, and Andrew Michalchuk on keys, we make music that holds significance to us, hoping they resonate and become meaningful to you too. Since releasing our debut album Mournings in 2024, our band has gained momentum with a feature on CKUA Radio and a local radio interview sharing their creative process.
