Inspired by over 30 years of lived experience with mental health challenges, Sharon has developed a therapeutic, creative, and deeply supportive programme that helps women understand themselves, rebuild confidence, and move forward with clarity.Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery and its players, we’re now able to offer more tailored wellbeing workshops — including this dedicated Power of YOU (18–25) two‑session experience for young women. This uplifting programme creates a safe, supportive space for those navigating early adulthood, whether you’re a single mum, currently out of work, or simply in need of a confidence boost, this workshop is for you. You must book on both sessions to complete the workshop and take home the journal. What Is the Power of YOU?A small‑group workshop (maximum 8 women) designed to help you explore your emotions, understand your patterns, and reconnect with your inner strength. Compassionate Voices offers ongoing activities — from creative sessions and personal safety workshops to guest speakers, social gatherings, and online wellbeing support — ensuring women stay connected, supported, and empowered long after the course ends.Workshop DetailsThe highly recommended programme is fully funded by The National Lottery ( Reaching Communities and is completely free for women in Derbyshire. Your ticket — valued between £50 and £75 — includes an interactive journal, and as a thank you for taking the first step, every attendee will also receive a positivity postcard pack.
