MTB Challenge around the Peak District. 3 routes all fully marked with food stations to keep you going along the way.

The much anticipated return of the 'Red Rat Rampage' is finally here - a community fundraising mountain bike challenge event in the Peak District taking place on Sunday 25th September 2022.

There are 3 routes to choose from…

SHORT: ‘Splat the Rat’ - 13km + 300m ascent (as per 2019 route)

MEDIUM: ‘Ring o’Roses' - 39km + 1000m ascent (as per 2019 route)

LONG: ‘Bubonicator’ - 63km + 1650m ascent (new revised route for 2022)

All routes begin in the historical Peak District village of Eyam and are designed to be a ‘Challenge’ and NOT a race. All routes combine public highway and off road trails.

‘Splat the Rat’ is designed for families with riders aged 8 years+ (all U18s MUST be accompanied by an adult on any route) or less able riders.
