A gentle afternoon of inquiry, creativity, and kind self-talk
Nurturing Self-Compassion is a hands-on, reflective workshop designed to help you soften your inner dialogue and create words that genuinely support you.
Many of us move through life with an inner voice that is demanding, critical, or quietly undermining – often without realising it. This session offers space to slow down, listen inwardly, and intentionally shape more compassionate ways of speaking to yourself.
Through guided inquiry and simple, creative craft, you’ll be supported to create your own personal affirmations – not as clichés or forced positivity, but as grounded, meaningful phrases that feel true to you and relevant to your life.
You’ll be gently guided by Bronwyn, who will support you to explore self-talk through a somatic, nervous-system-aware lens, and Mand, who will lead the creative process with warmth and playfulness, bringing lightness, creativity, and gentle joy to the afternoon.
No prior experience with crafting, journaling, or affirmations is needed. Just a willingness to show up as you are.

Her approach is practical, embodied, and rooted in the belief that small shifts in awareness can open up greater clarity, ease, and choice across everyday life.
Mand is a Laughter Yoga facilitator and lifelong crafter who brings warmth, creativity, and joy into everything she does. Her gentle, playful presence helps people relax, open up, and enjoy the process – especially when trying something new.
