On Sunday 9 August we'll be running a Balfolk Summer School session, revisiting some of the dances we've explored in previous workshops. New dancers are very welcome – we'll explain everything as we go. The afternoon includes: • A Summer School workshop revisiting some of the dances we've explored in previous workshops. • Live music led by Rondez Vous. • Singing for dancing from The Waite Collective. • Musicians are warmly welcome to join us – playing, dancing or both. Bring your Panards books. • Tea, coffee, cake and fruit during the afternoon. • Friendly dancers and a welcoming atmosphere. After the official dancing finishes, The Waite Collective will be staying for informal social time. You're warmly invited to stay for another drink, conversation or a meal of your own choosing. Bring your own food, join our pizza order, or simply stay for conversation and community. No partner or previous experience required. Suggested donation £5 (pay what you can). Donations help us cover costs and continue running community folk music and dance events in our area.
