End of Season Awards Event
It is with great pleasure that we can officially announce our 1st ever End of Season Event for ALL AFC Waverton teams; an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our successes of the past season as ONE CLUB.
The Club will be providing trophies for all players to be presented by individual team coaches. You will be able to purchase drinks from the licensed bar as well as food and ice cream from our catering partners. We will also be setting up pitches on the Queens Fields for coaches to organise matches within their age groups. Other activities TBC.
When is it? - Sunday July 14th between 10 and 2.30pm.
Where is it? - Waverton Village Hall
How is it going to work?
10am - 12.30: Age groups up to and including U11's (rotate between medal presentations, playing matches and eating and drinking)
12.00 - 2.30pm: Age groups from U12's and above (rotate between medal presentations, playing matches and eating and drinking)
We will use the overlap time between 12 and 12.30 for a Club photograph, featuring as many of our players, coaches and volunteers as possible.
Please can all players wear their AFC Waverton kits.
We are looking for volunteers to help set up the pitches + any prizes from local businesses that could be used for a raffle.
It will be great to see as many people involved with the Club, hopefully having a fun day in the sunshine!
