Winner of the Silver Bear, Berlin Film Festival 2018. Jacek loves heavy metal, his girlfriend and his dog, he works at the construction site for what is supposed to become the tallest statue of Jesus in the World. When a severe accident disfigures him completely, all eyes turn to him as he undergoes the first facial transplant in the country. A dark comedy.

The film will be introduced by a talk from Professor Owen Evans, Professor of Film at Edge Hill University and an expert in European cinema before and after the fall of communism. He has published widely on directors tackling this subject, most notably Florian Henkel von Donnesmarck.

Preceded by two short films as part of the International Animation Festival.

This film will not have adverts or trailers – the shorts and introduction which precede the film will start at the advertised time.
