Chores at Storyhouse

Two brothers must hurry to clean their room before their mum comes back.
What could possibly go wrong?

Chores was a runaway success story in 2018, winning Audience Favourite at Prague Fringe, selling out Brighton Fringe, runner-up Best Children's Show at Perth FRINGEWORLD, and winner of the Weekly Award for Best Children's Show at Adelaide Fringe. Now, Chores is set to thrill audiences at Storyhouse!
A circus-comedy for the whole family, all the way from Australia!

With a storyline we can all relate to, kids go crazy for the acrobatics, juggling, major flips, acrobalance and cheeky humour. Inspired by Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, this is a show that’s made for children, but there is plenty of hilarity to amuse parents and families too!

★★★★★ 'After watching Chores I really want a toilet paper gun now.' – WeekendNotes

★★★★★ 'Hilarity ensues with this laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy.' - Adelaide Advertiser

★★★★★ ‘They immediately launch into a series of entertaining circus skills and slapstick that keeps the children cheering and the adults chuckling. From giant balls to tiny Cyr wheels, this is an inventive show that’s perfectly crafted for a young audience.’ - Broadway Baby

★★★★★ ‘Squeals of joy and peals of laughter follow their successes and hollers admonish their failures – the young audience seeming to know exactly when to engage much to the amusement of their parents. If you can measure the success of a children’s show by its ability to light up the faces of rain-drenched toddlers, this show has no room for improvement.’ - Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

Chores is brought to you by Hoopla Clique and Cluster Arts.
