Backyard Orchard Maintenance Class

So you really want your trees to produce apples...

There are so many things to consider! Let us teach you the basics of backyard tree maintenance.

All participants in our Backyard Orchard Planning class will leave with:
1) A better understanding of the basics of nutrient management
2) An overview of orchard pest control approaches
3) Introductory knowledge of Integrated Pest Management
4) Tips for fruit thinning
5) A customized plan for your own backyard orchard!

This class will be held in our unheated farm store and may include a walk in the orchard. Please dress for the day’s weather. $25 per person.
