REfUSE is a social enterprise based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. Our vision is to reveal the true value of things, places and people that may be unjustly wasted or overlooked.
Join us and tuck into a restaurant-style dinner with a twist: each plate is inspired and sourced from our surplus food collections which would have been destined for landfill. We rescue it, see the quantity and quality of food deemed 'worthless' and re-value it by serving amazing three-course dinners at REfUSE Café, Chester-Le-Street.

Our restaurant nights are so popular and raise awareness and funds for the REfUSE’s work in the community and in tackling food waste. Every Thursday, each evening has a different guest chef volunteering their skills, and they pick a theme for food.

How much?
Like a 'supper club', we have a set price of £22 per head. This evening will be a 6-course set tasting menu. You can bring your own wine or other alcohol. We do have a limited selection of soft drinks and mixers available to purchase on the night. We will provide each table with tap water, glasses and ice, and always have a Corkscrew or Bottle Opener on hand!
We ask for a deposit of £5, TicketSource charge their own fee on top of this, this will leave £17 per ticket to pay on the evening. All money goes towards the food waste-saving work of REfUSE.
