REfUSE Restaurant Night: Syrian evening
Want to enjoy a delicious candlelit meal with wine AND effortlessly help us fight against climate change and social isolation?
A candlelit restaurant-style dinner with a twist: all the food we serve would otherwise have been destined for landfill. We rescue it, see the quantity and quality of food deemed 'worthless' and re-value it by serving amazing three-course dinners, twice a month at REfUSE Cafe, Chester-le-Street.
Our restaurant nights are so popular and one of our best ways of raising funds for the cafe’s community work. On the first and third Thursdays of every month, each evening has a different theme depending on the volunteer guest chef we have in.
Thursday 4th April: Syrian theme.Enjoy authentic middle-eastern food cooked by our amazing friends who are refugees from Syria. The menu depends on what food is rescued that week!
Bookings only: book online via eventbrite to secure your seat, at £5 per person. Food on the evening is Pay As You Feel. Bring your own drinks.
