Sylvia Nichols, AIFD PFCI, is an accredited floral industry leader whose career has blossomed over 50 years. An award-winning entrepreneur, floral educator and designer, Sylvia has imparted the wisdoms of life through the lessons of flowers across the United States. Her roots in the Cheshire community run deep, having served serving six terms as an elected official. In November 2023, her debut book, written in collaboration with Cheshire photographer Angela Pontecorvo, “Tulips Talk… Are You Listening?” was released; a title that beckons readers to find the messages hidden in nature’s beauty.

Flowering…A Workshop Series In Bloom!
A gathering where petals, purpose and practice unfold together. Flowering will bloom in a series of eight floral workshops for flower lovers of all ages and experience levels to gather, design, and share ways that flowers have touched their lives. Explore the language of blooms, and the rhythms of the seasons. Join us as we cultivate moments of color, connection and creativity. Flowering begins not with perfection, but with intention.

The Flowering Workshop Series will span a 4-month period (September to December 2025) encompassing 8 different hands-on design workshops that will focus on seasonal blooms of gratitude and the warmth of Flowers, Feelings, Family and Friends. Perfect for all adults of any age or ability.​
