- **Event Description**: Do you know what goes into the stormwater basins on your street? Do you know where the storm drains and all they carry lead? Salamanders, Frogs, Fish and other aquatic life want you to know!

In this Community Outreach Project, we learn about stormwater: where it goes and what it brings with it to local streams. What should and should not go into our neighborhood storm drains is key! 

Throughout the summer, neighbors and volunteers will learn how storm drains function on their street and where the water flows, and then place "No Dumping, Drains to the Sound" medallions placed on storm drains to remind neighbors that it's up to us to help Keep Our Waterways Clean.

Our first neighborhood work party is Wednesday, June 23rd at 10 a.m. Rain date:  June 24.  Session runs approximately one hour. We meet at the entrance to Fawn Drive, off Cook Hill, in the south end of town. This session will kick off a summer of neighborhood stormwater medallion projects.
