Beckie Lynch is preparing for a bone marrow transplant, which will require a lengthy hospital stay and extensive medical care for post treatment transplant care which requires her to stay close to the James Cancer Center. As the family navigates this difficult journey, her husband is also facing back surgery, which will lead to a significant loss of income due to an inability to work. This combined strain of medical expenses, hospital stays, and the financial hardships of missing work has placed an overwhelming burden on the family. The benefit dinner aims to provide much-needed financial support to help cover medical costs, daily expenses, and alleviate some of the stress as they face these tough circumstances together. Beckie and Dave are to proud to ask for help so as family and a community we want to rally around them and let them know they have our support.
