About Tammy:
Tammy is a RYT 220 Kundalini Yoga teacher and a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is also an intuitive gong practitioner with certification in Gong Yoga Nidra. Her teaching blends strength, movement, and deep inner awareness to create a balanced approach to wellness.
Her journey began in 2016 while living in Charlottesville, where she took her first Kundalini Yoga class with Crystal Oliver (Sohan Raj). She immediately felt a profound connection, and through consistent practice began to notice a powerful shift in her life. This transformation led her to complete her teacher training in 2019 under Jai Gopal Khalsa, deepening her practice and passion for guiding others.
A U.S. Army veteran, Tammy brings discipline, resilience, and dedication to her work — qualities that now infuse her approach to both fitness and yoga. Her passion for strength training extends beyond her own active lifestyle; she loves helping others on their health journeys, empowering them to feel strong, confident, and supported in their bodies.
In her classes, Tammy shares the tools and techniques that have enriched her own life. She offers invigorating breathwork, meditation, and kriyas that balance both the physical and energetic bodies. She also offers gong immersions, including Gong Yoga Nidra and gong sound journeys, guiding participants into deep states of relaxation through her voice and the healing resonance of the gong.
