- **Event Description**: The Tryon Resolves Chapter of the National Society Daughters of American Revolution is sponsoring Wreaths Across America for fallen veterans. If you have a veteran that is buried in the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery or just want to honor our military heroes in general, you can order Christmas wreaths at the link below. The wreaths will be placed during a ceremony on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 12:00pm at the city cemetery. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Order by December 1st at 11:59pm to ensure delivery for this year's ceremony.

Many that purchased wreaths last year also joined us for the ceremony so they could place their family members' wreaths. We would love for as many to join us as possible, but if no one from your family will be there, one of our chapter members will be honored to place the wreath and whisper your loved one's name.

To specify a particular veteran’s grave (Grave Specific), follow these detailed instructions carefully:
* Choose “Sponsor Wreaths”
* Select the number of wreaths you want to sponsor, click "Next"
* If you are purchasing multiple Grave Specific wreaths, only choose 1 wreath at a time, complete the information about that veteran, add to cart, then click "Sponsor Another Wreath." You may continue adding as many wreaths to your cart as you wish, then check out all at once when you are finished.
* Confirm that Tryon Resolves DAR is your Sponsorship Group, click "Next"
* Information about City Memorial Cemetery and the ceremony will pop up, click "Next"
* Click "Grave Specific" to go on a specific deceased veteran's grave, then click "Next"
* Indicate whether you will place the wreath yourself or if you would like a volunteer to place the wreath
* A screen for you to enter the specific information about your veteran will pop up. Complete as much information as possible to help Tryon Resolves DAR and other volunteers on ceremony day. Then click "Next"
* Confirm the number of wreaths you purchased, then click "Add to Cart"
* You will then be prompted to "Proceed to Checkout"

You may also choose to place wreaths in honor of a living veteran or in memory of a veteran. Follow these instructions carefully:
* Choose “Sponsor Wreaths”
* Select the number of wreaths you want to sponsor, click "Next"
* Confirm that Tryon Resolves DAR is your Sponsorship Group, click "Next"
* Information about City Memorial Cemetery and the ceremony will pop up, click "Next"
* Click "In Honor/Memory Of" to go on a specific deceased veteran's grave, then click "Next"
* Choose the appropriate box for you (In Honor or In Memory), then enter the information for the veteran you would like to honor. Then click "Next"
* Confirm the number of wreaths you purchased, then click "Add to Cart"
* If you are purchasing multiple wreaths, in honor or memory of someone, choose the number of wreaths for each person you are honoring, complete the information about that veteran, add to cart, then click "Sponsor Another Wreath." You may continue adding as many wreaths to your cart as you wish, then check out all at once when you are finished.* You will then be prompted to "Proceed to Checkout"
