- **Event Description**: The heat is on at Post 443! Join us for the annual Commander’s Cup Chili Cook-Off, where Legion Family members from across the state bring their best chili to compete for bragging rights, cash prizes, and the Commander’s Cup.

Chili Entries:
Competition is not open to the general public.
All chili entries must be made by Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion, or Auxiliary members affiliated with any American Legion Post.
The entry fee is $20 per cook.

People’s Choice Tasting & Voting:
While only Legion Family members can compete, Legion members from any Post and their guests are invited to take part in the People’s Choice tasting and voting.
A $10 donation includes 5 voting tickets to cast for your favorite chili and all the tasting you can handle (until it’s gone).

Judging & Awards:
Judges will determine only the 1st Place Winner, who will receive $100 and the Commander’s Cup.
2nd Place, 3rd Place, and People’s Choice Winner ($100) will all be decided by People’s Choice voting.

Schedule:
Chili Turn-In: 1:00 PM
People’s Choice Tasting & Voting: 1:30 PM
Voting Closes: 3:00 PM
Awards: 3:30 PM (approx.)

Note:
Cooks who enter may taste other chilis, but will not receive voting tickets and cannot vote in People’s Choice.
